SpectraFlow is the only online analyzer solution which can distinguish between different mineral phases. Therefore, SpectraFlow can quantify the Gibbsite or Kaolinite content of Bauxite ore, which is very important information to limit the undesired reactive Silica of the Kaolinite in the product. This works excellently and was tested in the laboratory. Additionally NIR is already used for measuring Bauxite ore in the laboratory. No other online measurement system can handle Bauxite ore. Additionally the Analyzer can be used in the refinery for optimizing anode butt recycling.
