Iron Ore/Sinter

SpectraFlow can be used to optimize the complete iron ore process, from the mine to the pig iron product. SpectraFlow is used for Iron Ore mines to classify the quality of the raw material either in the mine at the crushers or before loading on to the train or ships for transporting. In the sinter plant the SpectraFlow Analyzer is used to measure the raw material coming from the blending bed and is adjusted afterwards with corrective materials. After the mixing drum, SpectraFlow can be used to measure the moisture content to optimize the water addition of the sinter. To produce high quality sinter, the moisture and carbon content, as well as the basicity, are very important process parameters which can be controlled efficiently by a SpectraFlow Analyzer. No other online measurement system can handle Iron Ore material.
